Carme Elara Palsu has spent her life haunted by dreams of creatures dancing in the night, their music lingering in the air long after she wakes.  Her father always dismissed them as fantasies, but deep down, she knows there is more to them.  

A chance reunion with her childhood friend, Alessandro, begins to unravel a truth that has long been hidden.  The fae are real, and so is the power coursing through her veins.  But the magic of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts is only part of the mystery.  Shadowy forces stir, secrets of old are coming to light, and Carme begins to wonder if her father's warnings were meant to protect her or keep her from the truth.
